What this website collects

Almost nothing. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no trackers or advertising pixels. We do not build a profile of your visit, and there is nothing here for you to consent to.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — including IP addresses and the pages requested — to serve the site and keep it secure.

When you book a call

Every booking link on this site opens Calendly, the scheduling service we use. Calendly collects what you enter — typically your name, email address, and anything you tell us about your project — and passes it to us so we can prepare for the call.

Calendly processes that data as our service provider, under its own privacy notice.

When you email us

If you write to sai@cognispan.ai, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply, and so we can manage the engagement if it leads to one.

If you want to be placed as an engineer

We collect what you send us, or what a recruiting partner sends on your behalf: your CV, work history, certifications, rate expectations, right-to-work status, and contact details.

We put shortlisted profiles, including rates, in front of the clients whose requirements you match.

Client contact details

When we work with a client we hold the names, work email addresses, and roles of the people we deal with, so we can run the engagement and the weekly governance review.

• To meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
• To keep our systems and our clients' environments secure

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

• Clients, when we put an engineer's profile forward
• Service providers that run our scheduling, email, and business systems, including Calendly
• Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it

Where your data goes

Cognispan Tech LLC is registered in the United States, and we and our service providers process personal data there. If you are outside the US, sending us your data means transferring it internationally.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as it serves the purposes above, then delete it or strip it of anything identifying. Enquiries that go nowhere get cleared out. Records tied to a placement are kept for as long as we need them for contractual, tax, and legal reasons.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or hand it over to another provider.

Email sai@cognispan.ai and we will action it. We offer this to anyone who asks, wherever you live. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
